Codru's hilly terrain calls for well-thought-out structures: stepped foundations, partial basements and retaining walls that hold the terraced yards in place. For such load-bearing elements we usually recommend M300 (C20/25), while an ordinary strip foundation for a house can also take M250 (C16/20). Tall retaining walls, floor slabs, columns and beams call for M350 (C25/30). For paths, pavements, floors and platforms M200 (C12/15) is enough, and for levelling layers and fills you can use M150 (C8/10). Not sure which one fits? In summer we schedule pours for the morning so the mix doesn't lose water on the road and you can compact it calmly; in winter we recommend mixes with admixtures for low temperatures and covering the fresh surface. After rain, steep streets can get slippery for a heavy truck, so sometimes it pays to pick a window of stable weather together. A quality certificate comes with every delivery, whatever the grade and volume.
