Sand
River and quarry sand, washed — for concrete, mortars and plaster.
Cramped inner courtyards, neighbours a wall away, low archways and narrow delivery windows — a building site in central Chișinău sets its own rules. DARSAN has adjusted to them: we deliver ready-mixed concrete across the Centru district with our own mixer trucks, time each trip for the hour the street allows unloading, and send a concrete pump on request wherever the truck cannot fit. The system picks the nearest plant itself, the mix arrives fresh, and the map shows your cost in seconds. Sand, gravel and crushed stone too.
Transport to Centru starts at 1600 lei per trip — the lowest rate on our list, because the run from the nearest plant (about 7.6 km) barely counts as a journey. On a leg this short the truck spends minutes on the road, not hours, so nothing eats into the time your crew has to place and finish the pour. Drop the pin on the map calculator and the trip rate and the per-cubic-metre price for your address appear side by side, with no hidden extras slipped into the bill.
We serve the entire district: the bd. Ștefan cel Mare area, str. București and str. Alexei Mateevici, the blocks around Valea Morilor park and the rest of the historic centre. Administrative buildings, old apartment houses under renovation and small courtyard pours all get the same treatment. The truck arrives at the agreed hour, and when one load is not enough, we line up several trips back to back so the pour never has to stop.
Access is the tricky part of the centre: narrow courtyards, low archways, occupied parking and one-way streets. That is why we ask about the entrance in advance — a mixer truck carries up to 8 m³ and needs room to manoeuvre. When the truck cannot reach the formwork, we come with a concrete pump on request, feeding the mix over fences, through passageways or up to an upper floor. If needed, we help you reserve standing space for the duration of the pour so everything runs quickly and without blockages.
The centre is in a constant state of renewal: flat renovations in historic buildings, consolidation of foundations and walls, floor screeds, stairs, basements and small extensions in inner courtyards. For consolidations and load-bearing elements we usually suggest M300 (C20/25) or M350 (C25/30); for foundations and slabs, M250 (C16/20) is the standard pick; screeds, paths and platforms do fine with M200 (C12/15), and levelling layers or fills with M150 (C8/10). Describe the job by phone and we will confirm the grade and the volume — with small pours that matters all the more.
The same fleet brings aggregates into Centru too: washed river and quarry sand for mortars, screeds and plaster, plus gravel and crushed stone in various fractions for drainage, fills and concrete mixed on site. On renovation jobs, where materials are ordered often and in small batches, getting everything from one supplier in a single delivery saves real time. We agree the quantity together, so you are left neither short of material nor with spare heaps in the yard.
The season plays its part as well. In summer we schedule pours for the morning, when central streets are quiet and temperatures low — the concrete goes down in ideal conditions and the truck avoids traffic. In winter we use mixes with cold-weather admixtures, suitable also for consolidation work in unheated spaces. Every delivery comes with a quality certificate for the ordered grade, so the site manager or designer has the paperwork needed when the work is signed off.
Transport here is the cheapest in the city — from 1600 lei per trip, roughly 7.6 km from the nearest plant. The map calculator shows the exact price for your address instantly; the cost of the concrete itself is added per m³, depending on the grade.
Very fast: the district sits close to our plants, so the drive takes minutes. We usually deliver the same day, at the agreed hour. For busy central streets we pick a convenient access window together.
